- Members are considered a cut above a normal driving school because they must meet even stronger criteria than acceptable to the DMV
Requirements for Membership:
- The school must be in business for 1 year at the time of acceptance
- The school must not be on probation by the DMV within the last 5 years
- The school must not use independent contractors as instructors
- The school must agree to abide by all Association regulations
- Membership approval is subject to a vote by the DSAC Board of Directors
Dues Structure:
Dues are valid for 1 year, from July 1 - June 30
Regular Full Membership -
- $125.00 - One car or instructor
- $195.00 - two - five cars or instructors
- $245.00 - six - ten cars or instructors
- $295.00 - eleven or more cars or instructors
Regular members have voting privileges, can hold office, and are eligible for all DSAC programs and discounts
Contributing Membership - $120.00
This is for all other than licensed driving schools. They receive all publications and may attend meetings, but cannot vote, hold office, or receive any of the DSAC discounts.
