MATURE DRIVERS

KEEP, OPTAIN or REGAIN YOUR LICENSE!
Do you have a license and are due for a test?
Have you failed a drive test?

Don't take test after test without professionally improving and correcting your driving skills. High risk students end up in the Driver Safety Division.

Here are a few things you can do!

1. Click here to contact a Driving School specialized in mature drivers.
2. Contact your local DMV. Find out what's expected of you, laws and traffic have changed since you were first tested.

Knowledge is power. Find out what you really need to know.
(Not what you think you know!)

PERMIT REQUIREMENTS FOR ADULTS
If you want to use public roads while learning to drive, you must get an instruction permit. You may use the permit to practice driving with an accompanying adult who is 18 years of age or older, with a valid California license, and must be with you in the vehicle, close enough to take control of it at any time. An instruction permit doesn't permit you to drive alone, not even to a DMV office to take the driving examination.
